Nick Fury is back in action, but when will the next episode arrive on Disney Plus?
The streaming adaptation of Secret Invasion may not feature the bursting superhero line-up of its comic book source material, but that hasn’t stopped it delivering some major twists in its opening episodes.
The premiere left viewers shocked by the sudden death of a long-serving MCU character, while the second chapter gave us our first real glimpse into the private life of Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) – and he’s been hiding a big secret.
More action, excitement and espionage awaits in Secret Invasion episode 3 – ominously titled ‘Betrayed’ – which is available to stream on Disney Plus from today.
Jackson is on top form here as the spy character he clearly loves to play, while Marvel newcomers Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke and Kingsley Ben-Adir have also earned praise for their performances.

With the first three episodes of Secret Invasion now available to viewers to stream on Disney Plus worldwide, the question now turns to when episode 4 will be released on the platform.
The good news is, we don’t have too long to wait – Secret Invasion episode 4 will released on Disney Plus on Wednesday 12th July 2023, exactly one week after the third episode dropped.

As with previous Disney Plus Marvel shows, each new episode of Secret Invasion will arrive on the platform at 8am BST, which is equivalent to midnight Pacific Time in the US.
This means you don’t have to get up too early if you’re looking to catch the episodes first thing – Nick Fury and those pesky Skrulls will be there waiting for you at 8am.
How many episodes are there in Secret Invasion?

There will be a total of six episodes across this season of Secret Invasion. This puts it in line with other Marvel Disney Plus series including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, Moon Knight and Ms Marvel.
The outliers so far have been WandaVision, What If…? and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, all of which contained nine episodes with shorter run-times.
