Crystal Palace appear to be doing little more than existing in 2023/24 ahead of the visit of Bournemouth live on Amazon Prime Video.

The Eagles have been stuck in the upper reaches of the bottom half for what seems like an eternity – rarely a threat to the top half, yet never truly threatened by the spectre of relegation.

Roy Hodgson is under mounting pressure to break the logjam and get his side moving up the table, though. This looks like a solid opportunity to do just that – but the visitors won’t roll over.

Bournemouth have found form in 2023/24 following a tough start to the campaign. They have won three of their last five Premier League encounters, their only defeat in that spell coming against Manchester City.

The Cherries will eye a real opportunity to pick the pockets of Palace at Selhurst Park as they bid to steer away from the relegation zone over the festive period.
