Netherlands and Austria battle it out on Tuesday night, with Ronald Koeman’s side eyeing top spot in Group D ahead of the knockout stages.

Koeman’s men, who are currently top of the group, beat Poland 2-1 in their opener before drawing 0-0 against a France side without the injured Kylian Mbappé.

Netherlands will finish in the top two and book a place in the last 16 if they avoid defeat against Austria. If they win and better France’s result against Poland elsewhere in Group D, Virgil van Dijk and co will top the group.

Austria, meanwhile, have to win on Tuesday evening if they are to finish in the top two and guarantee themselves a last-16 spot.

Ralf Rangnick’s side, who lost against France in their opening group game before beating Poland 3-1, should progress as one of the best third-placed teams if they get a point against Netherlands.

They could still go through if they lose on Tuesday – however, it would all depend on goal difference.
