Leicester City travel to Preston North End on Monday evening, with the Foxes knowing a win will see them lift the Championship title.

Enzo Maresca’s side secured instant promotion back to the Premier League on Friday night after Leeds were hammered 4-0 at QPR.

It looked like Leicester would have the title wrapped up months ago – however, the Foxes blew a 17-point lead to give Leeds and Ipswich Town a chance to beat them to promotion.

After securing their place in the Premier League for next season – and leaving Leeds and Ipswich to fight it out for the second automatic promotion spot – Leicester will be desperate to win the title by taking three points at Preston on Monday.

Preston, meanwhile, have nothing to play for, with Ryan Lowe’s side unable to reach the play-offs with two games remaining. They’ll be hoping to finish as high as possible before turning their attention to next season.
