Emma Raducanu enters the Miami Open with fresh hope following a solid performance at the Indian Wells Masters last week.
The British 20-year-old enjoyed a terrific run to the Round of 16 where she was defeated by World No.1 Iga Swiatek.
However, the Miami Open draw has not been favourable to Raducanu who must face a classy opponent before the seeded players even enter the draw.
She sits No.72 in the world right now. She could move up several places with another good results in the US this week.
Raducanu’s fortunes won’t be entirely changed by a good result at the Miami Open, but it would provide her with a launchpad to build from as she seeks a place near the top of the tree once again.
