Season 4 is being released in two parts – here’s everything you need to know.
Warning: This article contains spoilers for You season 4 part 1.
The first half of You season 4 landed in early February and saw Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) living a whole new lifestyle in London as a professor named Jonathan Moore.
Season 4 part 1 saw Joe thrown into a mystery surrounding a serial killer dubbed the “Eat the Rich Killer” who is picking off members of a wealthy circle of friends that Joe has found himself a part of.
Everything was built towards an epic mid-season finale which revealed the true identity of the killer and has set Joe on a collision course with this adversary.
Meanwhile, Joe continues to be drawn to icy art gallery curator Kate Galvin (Charlotte Ritchie), but will she end up like previous obsessions of his?
However, with part 1 ending on a dramatic cliffhanger, fans will have to wait for season 4 part 2 to discover the fate of Joe. So, when is the next instalment of the hit Netflix series released? Read on to find out.
When will You season 4, part 2 be released on Netflix?
You season 4 part 2 will be released on Thursday 9th March 2023 at 8.00am BST.
This is exactly a month after You season 4 part 1 is released and will consist of a further five episodes. If you’re yet to watch part 1, be warned as there will be spoilers ahead.
As part 1 left us with the cliffhanger that Joe now knows the true identity of the ‘Eat the Rich’ killer, the real question going into part 2 is how will our protagonist use this information? Will the well-known London serial killer succeed in taking down Joe and revealing his true identity to all?
We do know that there seems to be a paparazzi photographer that could be figuring out Joe’s true identity in the background, but will that be explored further in the remaining five episodes? So far, Joe has managed to fly relatively under the radar of suspicion but in the last couple of episodes of part 1, the friendship group were becoming increasingly suspicious of him.
With Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers) forging ahead in his new political career and Joe and Kate’s (Charlotte Ritchie) relationship getting even more complicated, we can only wait and see what the rest of season 4 has in store for us.

You season 4 part 2 trailer and theories
After a spectacular ending to season 4 part 1, Netflix has now teased a first look at part 2, which mainly focuses on Joe’s plan to stop Rhys in his tracks.
The footage also shows Joe and Kate getting cosy, as well as Lady Phoebe in danger.
Surprisingly, the clip also features Love Quinn, Joe’s season 2 obsession who was killed at the end of season 3, prompting fans to assume her appearance in season 4 will be a hallucination.
However, fans were also quick to point out she’s holding Rhys’s memoir, A Good Man in a Cruel World, with some speculating that she might not be dead after all and could somehow be connected to Rhys’s murders.
