Everything you need to know about when Xbox Game Pass will be brought on as a sub for FIFA 23!
Xbox Game Pass subscribers have finally got access to one of the biggest titles in EA’s catalog.
That’s right, folks: FIFA 23 has now landed on Game Pass (and, by extension, EA Play).
In even better news, the latest (and last) FIFA game by EA has hit Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play at no extra cost for subscribers.

When will FIFA 23 come to Xbox Game Pass?
FIFA 23 came to Xbox Game Pass on Tuesday 16th May 2023.
The release date was previously confirmed by EA and Microsoft, with the official EA Play Twitter account tweeting: “FIFA 23 comes to The Playlist next Tuesday”.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have free access to EA Play, which means that both Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers will be able to play FIFA 23 at no extra cost from Tuesday 16th May.
FIFA 21 and 22 both came to Xbox Game Pass before this, so it makes sense that EA Sports’ final football (soccer for some) game would also make it to the subscription service eventually.
It will be interesting to see what happens next with EA Sports FC, but it’s expected that that too will eventually make it to Game Pass as part of Microsoft and EA’s continuing strong relationship.
What FIFA does next, though, remains a mystery.
How do you claim the EA Play supercharge pack on FIFA 23?
EA Sports has not only made FIFA 23 available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers (and by extension EA Play subscribers), but also given away a free pack called the EA PLAY FUT Supercharge Pack.
To claim the Supercharge Pack you’ll need to go to the EA Play section on Xbox and redeem the code.
What is next for the FIFA Franchise?
As we mentioned earlier, this will be the last title that EA and FIFA work together on. Going forward, EA will be releasing EA Sports FC with the same development team responsible for FIFA 23. It’ll be interesting to see what this shift means for football games on Xbox Game Pass. Hopefully, EA will continue to support the service, but who knows what FIFA and its mysterious new partners will do in terms of subscriptions. We’ll be sure to update you when we find out!
