Leo Woodall stars alongside Ambika Mod in this new adaptation of the bestselling novel.

Fifteen years after David Nicholls’s best-selling novel One Day was released, and 13 years after the film adaptation starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for its own series adaptation of the story.

The series, which will be made up of 14 episodes, will released on the platform on Thursday 8th February, and stars Ambika Mod (This is Going to Hurt) and Leo Woodall (The White Lotus) in the central roles.

Set to The Cranberries’ song Dreams, the trailer introduces us to their characters Emma and Dexter, who we first see meeting on the night of their graduation. The next morning they go their separate ways, and each subsequent episode follows them on the same date, one year older.
