Brace yourselves, because The Masked Singer is back on ITV for a fourth season – and the costumes are weirder than ever.
This time, 12 new contestants will be taking to the stage to show off their singing talents (or lack thereof) while dressed up in outlandish outfits designed to disguise their true identity.
It’ll be up to celebrity panellists Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora and Davina McCall – as well as the viewers at home – to attempt to work out who is hiding behind each larger-than-life alter ego, with the help of some cryptic clues.
Back on the show for a second performance this weekend will be Knitting, a cuddly woollen character who’ll be hoping that their performance doesn’t unravel.
They’ll be going up against the likes of Jellyfish, Phoenix, Otter and Cat & Mouse – and at the end of the show, one of them will be unmasked.
From the clues shared so far to the judges’ best guesses, here’s what we know about Knitting.

The Masked Singer season 4 theories
Is Knitting Konnie Huq?
Blue Peter presenters are famed for their crafting abilities, so could Knitting be Konnie Huq? Twitter users have also pointed out that the TV star, who ended up being the CBBC show’s longest-serving female presenter, was also the 26th Blue Peter host, which fits in well with Knitting’s riddle.
I think Knitting on #MaskedSingerUK is Konnie Huq. Some Blue Peter clues

Knitting has to be Konnie Huq, was the 26th Blue Peter presenter (ok thats all I got but I'm sticking with it) #MaskedSingerUK

Plus, Magpie was the name of a children’s show designed to be a competitor to Blue Peter, and last year Huq presented a documentary all about kids TV.
That still doesn’t explain the links to Lancaster though, so we’ll have to tune in at the weekend for further hints.
