Tom Clare is returning to the Love Island villa for Love Island: All Stars this winter.
On Tuesday night’s episode (23rd January), Tom’s comeback was teased, as he was seen heading towards the villa alongside season six star Sophie Piper.
It’s not been too long since we last saw Tom in the villa, after making his debut as the first bombshell of the second winter edition in January 2023.
He was nicknamed “Terrace Tom” for his shenanigans on the balcony, but managed to leave the season in a committed relationship with Samie Elishi.
Sadly, they split just months after appearing on the ITV2 dating show, and now Tom is back for a second chance at finding love.
Could we see Samie following in his footsteps? There’s no word of Samie’s return just yet, but we’ll keep you updated once we know more.

Who is Tom Clare?
Tom Clare is a semi-professional footballer from Barnsley. He first appeared on Love Island in January 2023 and left the show in a couple with Samie Elishi.

Why is Tom returning for Love Island: All Stars?
Tom is looking to find love again and he thinks the villa is the perfect place to find it!
Asked why he wanted to give it another go, Tom said ahead of his return: “I found love last time, so I am back and ready to give it another go.”
He continued: “When you’re with someone 24/7 you really get to know them. It can be such an alien environment, so you really get to know someone in a short space of time. It’s Love Island – it’s the best place!”
In terms of how he’d feel if he were to bump into an ex in the villa, he added: “I think it’s hard because I was obviously in love with Samie, so I don’t know how I would react.
“We haven’t seen each other in a long time and things have been said. It would be difficult seeing her. Although we might have argued a bit, she’s got a good heart and I haven’t got a bad way to say about her.”
What season of Love Island was Tom Clare on?
Tom took part in season 9 of Love Island in January 2023. He arrived as the show’s first bombshell.
He had connections with Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, Ellie Spence, Samie Elishi and Lydia Karakyriakou, but it’s his romance with Samie that really shone as the pair went on to finish in third place behind winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan.
What happened with Samie and Tom?
Just months after appearing on Love island, it was reported that Samie and Tom had split in April 2023. Nevertheless, the pair were pictured hanging out, leading fans to believe they were still together.
Just months later it was revealed that the were no longer an item, with the duo appearing to throw shade at one another on social media.
