Who is Tyler Cruickshank? Meet the Love Island 2021 contestant who has his eye on Kaz Kamwi

Will Tyler choose to recouple with Clarisse? Or will he stick with his original girl Kaz?

It’s all happening on Love Island, and one of the islanders causing drama is Tyler Cruickshank.

Tyler joined the villa last week and was immediately drawn to Kaz Kamwi However, he’s had a very big change of heart since Casa Amor started.

Recently, he’s been getting close to Clarisse Juliette, who is part of the Casa Amor 2021 cast. The pair even shared a bed together and some kisses.

His behaviour at Casa Amor was revealed to the ladies in the main villa when they received a postcard showing pictures of what the boys have been up to, and Kaz wasn’t happy at all!

So much so, she put on her make-up, and got chatting to new boy Matthew, who she then shared a kiss with.

We wonder who Tyler will choose at the recoupling…

How tall is Love Island’s Tyler?

Tyler is 6ft 6in tall, which has sparked some conversation in the villa. Following his arrival Toby questioned how tall he is, before asking his type. Tyler also compared his height to Liam Reardon to see who was taller, but it looked like they might be exactly the same height.

Why did Tyler want to take part in Love Island?

The Croydon estate agent signed up for the show because he was lonely (awwww).

“I’m single and still looking for someone. I’ve been single for about three years. I kind of miss having someone there,” he said. “It’s a good opportunity to find someone.”

Tyler admitted that there’s another aspect of the show that appeals, too, adding: “I’m really competitive, so the challenge aspect I do like. And I want to get out there in my shorts and show my abs!”

What does Tyler do for work?

Friends describe Tyler as “confident”, while he says his family would say he is “very well mannered, very polite”, so it is no surprise he works in a business that involves interacting with people on a daily basis – he is an estate agent.

Of course, there is already one estate agent at the Love Island villa – Faye. So who would win if they both had to sell the Majorca house?

“I would say me, you’ve got to back yourself. She looks like she’d have a really good pitch on her,” he said.

What is Tyler looking for in a partner?

Before he joined the villa, Tyler already has his eye on Kaz, saying: “She [Kaz] just looks like she has so much energy about her. You kind of need it if you’re surrounded by people all the time. If you were feeling down, Kaz would be the person to uplift you.”

Talking about fellow estate agent Faye, Tyler said: “She’s a fiery-ish sort of character. She sticks up for her friends and for herself. I don’t think there’ll ever be a dull moment with her.”
