Scheduling changes for our favourite soaps are nothing new, but you may find yourself looking for tonight’s episode of Coronation Street on ITV only to find the women’s football match between England and the USA in its place.

As always, the channel has made sure that the episodes from this week have still been aired in a timely fashion, meaning you shouldn’t miss out on any of the action from the street.

In fact, all episodes from this past week are available to stream on the ITV Hub now, so viewers can choose when they want to watch them. But if you’re wondering just why Coronation Street isn’t on tonight, and how the schedule has been affected, then here’s your full rundown.

What happened to the Coronation Street schedule this week?

""

Because of today’s women’s football friendly match between England and the USA, the schedules for the week have been moved around.

This has meant that while the usual three episodes have aired this week, they have not been shown on their usual days.

The regular ITV scheduling sees Coronation Street air episodes from 8pm to 9pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. However, this week the episodes were aired on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with Wednesday’s episode being moved up to Tuesday and Friday’s to Wednesday. Here’s exactly how the schedule played out:

As for next week, here is when Corrie is set to air, with the schedules reverting back to normal.

If I missed the episodes can I catch up?

Absolutely! All episodes of the soap which have aired between 7th September and 5th October 2022 are currently available to stream on ITV Hub, meaning even if you were thrown by this week’s scheduling change, you can still catch up on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s new episodes right now.
