All players outside the top 16 in the world are made to go through the qualifying tournament to reach the hallowed tables in Sheffield.
Neil Robertson is among those locked in qualifying battles. He has not been required to participate in qualifying since 2006, and will be desperate to avoid a shock pre-tournament exit.
The main draw begins at the Crucible on Saturday 20th April with an inevitably packed schedule of matches.
