Fans of Netflix hit Ozark have waited patiently for the fourth and final season to arrive and we are almost there.<\/p>\n

The first half of Ozark\u2019s final season will reach our screens in January 2022 with seven episodes in part one. We don\u2019t currently have an official date for the second and final instalment.<\/p>\n

We were treated to the upcoming season\u2019s first trailer back in September 2021, which shows Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney) at Navarro\u2019s residence following Helen Pierce\u2019s murder, with the pair doing their best to wash the dead attorney\u2019s guts off their clothes.<\/p>\n

A second trailer<\/a> gave fans another look at the darkness to come (read more on this below.)<\/p>\n

The latest full-length trailer \u2013 which can be found further down in the article \u2013 is the most explosive yet and teases armageddon for our favourite characters.<\/p>\n

While fans will undoubtedly be disappointed that the show is ending after four seasons, it\u2019s set to go out with a bang, as promised by Bateman himself, who told fans back in 2020 that they wouldn\u2019t be disappointed by the show\u2019s ending<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do know where everything is going to end,\u201d he told IndieWire<\/a>. \u201cThe specifics leading up to it, I didn\u2019t really grind [Mundy] on. But I was interested in the big question he has the opportunity to answer: Are they going to get away with it, or are they going to pay a bill?\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cWhat does he want to message to the audience about the consequences of what the Byrdes have done \u2013 or lack thereof?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had some great conversations about that, and he\u2019s got really good ideas about that. Specifically, what kind of happens at the end of the last episode: I know, and it\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alongside Bateman and Linney, Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gaertner will be bringing the popular crime drama to a close once and for all.<\/p>\n

Julia Garner will also be back in her fan-favourite role as Ruth Langmore, but she has a bone to pick with Marty and Wendy after last season.<\/p>\n

Will they regret crossing her?<\/p>\n

In addition, the likes of\u00a0Ali Stroker (The Glee Project) and Veronica Falc\u00f3n (Jungle Cruise<\/a>) will be joining the show for its farewell season, as well as rapper Killer Mike, who makes an unexpected cameo.<\/p>\n

Ozark season 4 release date and time<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ozark season 4 part 1 will arrive on Netflix UK on Friday 21st January<\/strong>\u00a02022\u00a0<\/strong>at 8am GMT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new season will be split into two parts, with a total of 14 episodes set to air in 2022.<\/p>\n

The cast and crew finished filming the series in October 2021 after beginning almost a year before.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jason Bateman, the show\u2019s star and Emmy-winning director, revealed in an interview with IndieWire<\/a> that production started in\u00a0November 2020, with safety measures in place against the virus.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to start November 9th. Everything is moving well toward that, and we\u2019re very confident in the guidelines and protocols we\u2019re going to be following. We\u2019ve got tons of consultants, [and] we\u2019re learning a lot from other productions.\u201d<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the MRC production company added: \u201cThe health and safety of our Ozark family is our first priority. Our team has approached return to production with a mandate of exceeding guidelines outlined by the CDC, government officials and others; and we expect our protocols to evolve as we learn from the industry and our own productions.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we aim toward a return, we are working with the unions, health officials, our consultants, and Netflix on our COVID safety guidelines and protocols. Upon approvals from our partners and the implementation of safety required in this new environment, we are targeting a November start date.\u201d<\/p>\n

A full trailer for Ozark season 4 has now been unveiled.<\/p>\n

Released on Thursday 6th January 2022, the new trailer shows that Marty and Wendy will face some dangerous threats in the upcoming first half of the season.<\/p>\n

The footage shows off some action-packed scenes including car crashes, violent clashes and nasty threats being shared.<\/p>\n
