<\/p>
Phil Collinson is set to return to Doctor Who<\/a> as a producer for the show\u2019s upcoming 14th season.<\/p>\n The television producer, who worked alongside Russell T Davies on Doctor Who from 2005 until 2008, as well as It\u2019s A Sin, will be reuniting with the showrunner on the sci-fi show\u2019s 2023 season.<\/p>\n Eagle-eyed fans spotted<\/a> a credit for Doctor Who\u2019s next run on Collinson\u2019s Independent Talent page<\/a>, with the upcoming season described as \u201ccurrently in development\u201d.<\/p>\n Davies, who was the Doctor Who showrunner from 2005 until 2010, announced back in September that he would be returning to the show to<\/a> helm its 60th anniversary year and \u201cseries beyond\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m beyond excited to be back on my favourite show,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cBut we\u2019re time-travelling too fast, there\u2019s a whole series of Jodie Whittaker\u2019s brilliant Doctor for me to enjoy, with my friend and hero Chris Chibnall at the helm \u2013 I\u2019m still a viewer for now.\u201d<\/p>\n Since then, it was confirmed that production company Bad Wolf, which was founded by former executive producers of the show Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner, would be teaming up with Davies to create the upcoming series, taking over creative control from the BBC<\/a>.<\/p> In December, Davies revealed that he\u2019d already written a few of the 2023 episodes<\/a>, with the first due to air in November 2023, marking the show\u2019s 60th anniversary.<\/p>\n As for who\u2019ll be given the keys to the TARDIS, there\u2019s no word just yet on Jodie Whittaker\u2019s replacement will be (although we can definitely rule out Dame Judi Dench<\/a>).<\/p>\n If you\u2019re looking for more to watch, check out our TV Guide<\/a>.
