Netflix\u2019s latest mega-budget South Korean thriller, titled All of Us Are Dead, has dropped on Netflix (on Friday 28th January 2022).<\/p>\n

With violence and horror<\/a> galore, and another title that seems to be a metaphor for a deep social malaise, it\u2019s hardly surprising that All of Us Are Dead<\/a> is being hailed as the next Squid Game<\/a>.\u00a0What\u2019s more, the new Netflix series<\/a> even features a\u00a0 Squid Game cast<\/a>\u00a0member in a major role.<\/p>\n

Based on the webtoon (i.e. South Korean digital comic) Now at Our School, All of Us Are Dead revolves around a bunch of high school students thrown into a zombie apocalypse when a science experiment goes disastrously wrong. The series is set against a backdrop of violent high school social dynamics.<\/p>\n

The main cast of All of Us Are Dead consists\u00a0of young South Korean actors, who play the unfortunate pupils at a zombie-infested school.<\/p>\n

Talking about casting the characters, director Lee Jae-kyoo recently told Tatler<\/a>: \u201cI thought it was very important that the actors should be very close to the characters that we wanted to portray. In the end, I really picked the cast who are similar to their characters in real life, especially if they were particularly emotional in their own ways which I thought was also a plus point.\u201d<\/p>\n
