The final episode of The Tourist \u2013 BBC One\u2019s latest thriller \u2013 airs on Sunday, with the story of Jamie Dornan\u2019s amnesia-stricken character coming to an end after a dramatic series.<\/p>\n

Written by Baptiste\u2019s Jack and Harry Williams, The Tourist sees The Man wake up in an Australian hospital after being run off the road with no memory of who he is and why he\u2019s there, with the likes of Shalom Brune-Franklin, Danielle Macdonald and Damon Herriman appearing in The Tourist cast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All episodes arrived on BBC iPlayer at the start of the month so if you binge-watched the whole series and are wondering after that The Tourist ending<\/a> whether Dornan will be back in the outback, then we have some information for you.<\/p>\n

Will The Tourist return for season 2?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
The BBC has not yet announced<\/strong> whether The Tourist season 2 will happen.<\/p>\n
However, considering the drama left viewers on a cliffhanger with the first season\u2019s finale, it\u2019s very possible that The Man \u2013 who we found out was called Elliot \u2013 may be back.<\/p>\n
Jamie Dornan certainly thinks so, with the show\u2019s star telling RadioTimes.com<\/a> in an exclusive interview that while they originally planned for it to be a one-off, the demand seems to be there<\/a> for a follow-up.<\/p>\n
\u201cI guess it\u2019s a little bit open-ended with the end, people still have questions,\u201d he said. \u201cObviously we had good plans for it, wanted it, but the response to it, as you know, has been insane and the amount of people [who have] watched it, and the love for it is very real.<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw something the other day that they said that there\u2019s talk of\u2026 they\u2019d be looking into how they could do a second series of it if there is a want, and it seems there is a want,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo who knows, the plan was only ever to play The Man once, but we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, The Tourist creators Harry and Jack Williams told\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/strong> before the show aired that they were talking about possible ideas for a second series<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would love to make this show again with these people,\u201d Harry said. \u201cI\u2019m not entirely sure it\u2019s possible. I love the tone, I love the world. It\u2019s been our lives for three years and we\u2019ve been very, very involved with it, more so than any other show.\u201d<\/p>\n
His brother Jack added: \u201cWe are talking about how we could return to this world, aren\u2019t we?\u201d with Harry replying: \u201cYeah, this world and this tone. I feel like we\u2019re not done with that. In terms of the story, we\u2019ll see how it goes if people like it.\u201d<\/p>\n
