Epic Games has delivered another Fortnite<\/a> update today, with the game\u2019s v19.20 update bringing a wave of changes to the beloved battle-royale title.<\/p>\n

After a period of Fortnite downtime that lasted for a few hours this morning, Epic Games has now revealed the full Fortnite patch notes for update v19.20.<\/p>\n

Keep on reading, then, and you\u2019ll find out everything that\u2019s new in today\u2019s Fortnite update!<\/p>\n

Fortnite update today: v19.20 patch notes\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\nAs revealed on the official Fortnite website<\/a>, these big changes have been made to the game\u2019s battle-royale mode:<\/p>\n
New point of interest Covert Cavern<\/strong> added to the map \u2013 it\u2019s exact location is described as \u201cinside the mountains north of Camp Cuddle\u201d<\/li>\n
A snazzy weapon can be found at Covert Cavern \u2013 it\u2019s a Mythic version of the Stinger SMG<\/strong><\/li>\n
Speaking of weapons, the\u00a0Heavy Shotgun\u00a0<\/strong>is back in the game \u2013 \u201cIt\u2019s now single slug, longer-range, and requires more accuracy\u201d<\/li>\n
You can now collect Haven\u2019s Masks <\/strong>\u2013 a series of quests relating to these wearables can be found in the Battle Pass<\/li>\n
Tornado and lightning weather events<\/strong> have been added to Team Rumble<\/li>\n<\/ul>Note: the Mythic Stinger SMG will not be available in competitive matches, but the Heavy Shotgun will be. And, as we were told to expect last week, the Spider-Man Mythic Web-Shooters<\/a> will now only have 20 shots instead of 80 in competitive games.<\/p>
Epic Games also announced that the following bug fixes have been rolled out in today\u2019s Fortnite update:<\/p>\n
Fixed an issue involving the visual indicator for using a Reboot Van appearing at a greater distance than the sound could be heard<\/li>\n
Fixed an issue involving matches sometimes not being recorded during a tournament session and the points earned in those matches becoming lost<\/li>\n
Fixed an issue involving Spider-Man\u2019s Web-Shooters dropping from eliminated players with a full stock of uses even if it didn\u2019t have a full stock before the player was eliminated<\/li>\n<\/ul>
A number of changes have also been made to Fortnite Creative, as Epic Games revealed on a different informative webpage<\/a>. You can click that link to learn all about it, but the headline changes include the addition of fire effects and a fuel system for vehicles.<\/p>\n
