Despite proving divisive with critics and Sex and the City<\/a> fans, And Just Like That<\/a> has certainly made its mark.<\/p>\n

The revival series picks up with the lives of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her best friends Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), showing that they\u2019re older but not necessarily much wiser!<\/p>\n

A huge focus of the show has been on Carrie navigating widowhood in the wake of the shocking death of her husband Mr Big<\/a> (Chris Noth).<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Charlotte grappled with family changes and making a new friend, while Miranda Hobbes experienced a controversial mid-life crisis that saw her develop a new relationship with comedian Che Diaz<\/a> (Sara Ramirez).<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, SATC\u2019s fourth leading lady Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is, of course, absent but her presence did feature in the new show as her exit was explained.<\/a><\/p>\n

So, as the first season concludes with the series\u2019 tenth episode<\/a>, we had to wonder: will And Just Like That get a second season?<\/p>\n

Here is everything we know about whether the show will return.<\/p>

Will there be a second season of And Just Like That?<\/b><\/h2>\n

HBO Max has yet to confirm<\/strong> whether we will see And Just Like That season 2.<\/p>\n

However, executive producer Michael Patrick King has addressed the prospect of a potential second season and it is looking like a strong possibility.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Variety<\/a> about a potential return, King commented: \u201cWe did something that was hard to do, which is we took something familiar and did make it new\u2026for better and for worse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sarah Jessica Parker agreed and added: \u201cMichael and I spoke two weeks ago, and said: \u2018OK, when are we going to talk about this?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause there\u2019s a calendar and you don\u2019t want to let too much time pass. There feels like there\u2019s momentum.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Casey Boys, the chief content officer at HBO and HBO Max described the series as the Max\u2019s most successful series to date \u2013 adding further fuel to the suggestion of a second run.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn terms of viewership, it\u2019s been phenomenal. I couldn\u2019t be happier with how it\u2019s doing in terms of reception,\u201d commented Bloys.<\/p>\n

Maybe we should get our hopes up!<\/p>\n

Who could be in the cast if And Just Like That returns?<\/b><\/h2>\n

We cannot imagine a potential second season of And Just Like That without Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong> as leading lady Carrie Bradshaw, so that would be a given.<\/p>\n

It is also highly likely that Kristin Davis<\/strong> and Cynthia Nixon<\/strong> would need to return as Carrie\u2019s best friends Charlotte York Goldenblatt and Miranda Hobbes respectively.<\/p>\n

We also expect a return for the girls\u2019 friend Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone<\/strong>), who is now divorced and single.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, we can expect returns for Charlotte\u2019s family in the form of Evan Handler<\/strong> as husband Harry Goldenblatt, Alexa Swinton<\/strong> as child Rock Goldenblatt and Cathy Ang<\/strong> as daughter Lily Goldenblatt.<\/p>\n

Niall Cunningham<\/strong> would also likely be back as Miranda\u2019s son Brady Hobbes opposite Cree Cicchino<\/strong> as his girlfriend Luisa Torres.<\/p>\n

David Eigenberg<\/strong> would also probably return as Miranda\u2019s devoted estranged husband, Steve Brady.<\/p>\n

And Just Like That also introduced us to new friends of the leading ladies and showed us their lives so we expect returns for Sarita Choudhury<\/strong> as Seema Patel, Nicole Ari Parker<\/strong> as Lisa Todd Wexley, Karen Pittman<\/strong> as Dr Nya Wallace, and Sara Ramirez<\/strong> as Che Diaz.<\/p>\n

This also means potential returns for other people in the lives of these characters, including LTW\u2019s husband Herbert Wexley (Christopher Jackson<\/strong>), LeRoy McClain<\/strong> as Nya\u2019s husband Andre Rashad Wallace, and William Abadie<\/strong> as Seema\u2019s lover, Zed.<\/p>\n

Sadly we will not be seeing Willie Garson return as Stanford Blatch due to the actor\u2019s death in 2021. He was written out of And Just Like That much earlier than planned<\/a> as a result, with the character leaving for Japan.<\/a><\/p>\n

Finally, Chris Noth will not return as Mr Big\/John James Preston following the character\u2019s death and his scenes being cut out of the season 1 finale.<\/a><\/p>\n

Is there a trailer for a second season of And Just Like That?<\/h2>\n

Due to the lack of confirmation of a second season, there is sadly no trailer to enjoy.<\/p>\n

We would expect new footage once the series starts filming.<\/p>\n
