New medical drama This Is Going to Hurt<\/a>\u00a0debuted on BBC One last night \u2013 and viewers have reacted very enthusiastically to the opening episode.<\/p>\n Writing on Twitter<\/a>, RadioTimes.com<\/a> readers were quick to praise the show, calling it \u201cmarvellous\u201d, \u201cbrilliant\u201d and \u201cfantastic\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cFabulous! Just like the book,\u201d wrote one viewer. \u201cVery funny, yet totally shows the tragic side. Whishaw is incredible. God save the NHS.\u201d<\/p>\n Another fan wrote that it was \u201cabsolutely brilliant from start to finish\u201d, while one remarked that it was \u201ca lot more intense than [they] expected\u201d.<\/p>\n The performance of Ben Whishaw, who stars in the lead role of junior doctor Adam Kay, also came in for special praise with one viewer commenting that he was the \u201cright man for the job\u201d.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, one fan made reference to his role in the James Bond films, writing, \u201cThis was great.
