It looks like Call the Midwife<\/a> fans are in for a real treat in the coming weeks, at least according to the cast.<\/p>\n

Two of the show\u2019s stars have hinted that the next pair of episodes could be the best in the show\u2019s history \u2013 which is sure to excite long-term fans of the beloved period drama.<\/p>\n

Timothy Turner star Max Macmillan first took to Twitter to sing the praises of the upcoming instalments, with Dr Patrick Turner\u2019s Stephen McGann echoing his sentiments soon afterwards.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis whole series was absolutely fantastic, but these next two upcoming episodes of <\/span>#callthemidwife<\/span> are the ones I\u2019m the most excited I\u2019ve EVER been for people to see,\u201d Macmillan wrote.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

McGann then retweeted Macmillan\u2019s comments, adding, \u201c<proud sniff> The lad\u2019s not wrong\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
