The Pok\u00e9mon Go Valentine\u2019s event started at 10am on Thursday 10th February, and will end at 8pm on Monday 14th February, meaning that you\u2019ve got the whole weekend to work on those research tasks, challenges and capturing some new critters for your collection.<\/p>\n
Note: those timings are the same wherever you are in the world!<\/p>\n
Pok\u00e9mon Go Valentine\u2019s event research tasks<\/strong><\/h2>\nThe following Pok\u00e9mon Go Valentine\u2019s event research tasks have been added to the game (you\u2019ll find them in the usual place), and we\u2019ve listed the rewards you get with completing each one:<\/p>\n

Depending on which region you\u2019re planning to be in this weekend, you should be able to spot at least three of those Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 variants spawning in the wild.<\/p>\n
Note: if you want to evolve a Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 in Pok\u00e9mon Go, you\u2019ll need 25 Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 Candy in order to evolve your Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 into a Floette. Once you\u2019ve collected that many candies, you will be able to trigger the evolution in the usual way.<\/p>\n
Once you\u2019ve got a Floette, you\u2019ll need 100 Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 Candy and 20 Hearts to evolve your Floette into a Florges. You can earn the hearts by having Floette as your buddy Pok\u00e9mon for a while.<\/p>\n

The bonuses running during this event include Lure Modules <\/strong>lasting twice as long <\/strong>as usual, as well as players receiving double Candy for each Pok\u00e9mon they catch <\/strong>and getting gifts more often <\/strong>from their buddy Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\nYou can also get the Heart Trim Furfrou <\/strong>during this event. Find a Natural Form Furfrou in your storage and select the button marked \u2018Change Form\u2019 in order to turn it into the Heart Trim version \u2014 making the change will cost you 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.<\/p>\nGardevoir and Gallade will also be able to use the move Synchronoise during this event. If you catch either of those creatures in a riad, they\u2019ll know this move automatically. Or if you evolve a Kirlia into either of them, it will learn this special move when you do so.<\/p>\n

Depending on which region you\u2019re planning to be in this weekend, you should be able to spot at least three of those Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 variants spawning in the wild.<\/p>\n
Note: if you want to evolve a Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 in Pok\u00e9mon Go, you\u2019ll need 25 Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 Candy in order to evolve your Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 into a Floette. Once you\u2019ve collected that many candies, you will be able to trigger the evolution in the usual way.<\/p>\n
Once you\u2019ve got a Floette, you\u2019ll need 100 Flab\u00e9b\u00e9 Candy and 20 Hearts to evolve your Floette into a Florges. You can earn the hearts by having Floette as your buddy Pok\u00e9mon for a while.<\/p>\n
Pok\u00e9mon Go Valentine\u2019s event <\/strong>spawn rates<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A number of Pok\u00e9mon Go Valentine\u2019s event bonuses are also running throughout the weekend, allowing you to pick up some event-exclusive goodies for your troubles.<\/p>\n
The bonuses running during this event include Lure Modules <\/strong>lasting twice as long <\/strong>as usual, as well as players receiving double Candy for each Pok\u00e9mon they catch <\/strong>and getting gifts more often <\/strong>from their buddy Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n
You can also get the Heart Trim Furfrou <\/strong>during this event. Find a Natural Form Furfrou in your storage and select the button marked \u2018Change Form\u2019 in order to turn it into the Heart Trim version \u2014 making the change will cost you 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.<\/p>\n
Gardevoir and Gallade will also be able to use the move Synchronoise during this event. If you catch either of those creatures in a riad, they\u2019ll know this move automatically. Or if you evolve a Kirlia into either of them, it will learn this special move when you do so.<\/p>\n
Basically, Niantic has delivered us plenty of pressies with this Pok\u00e9mon Go Valentine\u2019s event, and you love to see it!<\/p>\n
