Things are really heating up on Emmerdale<\/a>, and, as has been the case a lot lately, Meena is responsible.<\/p>\n

The psychopath is out for revenge against the people who have wronged her, and she\u2019s pulling out all the stops, crashing Dawn and Billy\u2019s wedding and forcing them to play a deadly game.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a> for The Big RT Interview, actress Paige Sandhu<\/a> revealed the upcoming storyline is a testament to how far Meena is willing to go to get her way (very far indeed), and that viewers should expect the worst from the serial killer.<\/p>\n

Abducting groom Billy (Jay Kontzle) and bride Dawn (Olivia Bromley), Meena \u201ctakes them to a remote viaduct and hands Billy a gun, telling him to choose whether him or Dawn should live\u201d, Sandhu revealed in The Big RT Interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMeena wants to cause the maximum amount of suffering possible, to simply kill them both outright is not satisfying as it\u2019s over too quickly. She wants to drag out the torment and punish them for the hurt she believes they caused her by their actions.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaking Billy choose is just awful; one of them having to watch the other die is the worst thing,\u201d the Emmerdale star continued. \u201cFor Meena, it heightens the fun and pleasure she derives from watching people go through intense emotions. It\u2019s exhilarating. Manipulating, hurting and killing is thrilling for her, she\u2019s got a real taste for it now and at this point is incapable of stopping.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to press including RadioTimes.com<\/strong>, Sandhu previously said:\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019ve seen what she is capable of and she even would\u2019ve killed her own sister if not for Liam. Nothing\u2019s going to stop her now.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cMeena has a general plan but lets the moment take her, likes to be spontaneous and unpredictable, never knows what\u2019s going to cause a reaction in her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf she feels like it, she might think, \u2018I\u2019ve shot Billy cos he\u2019s chosen himself, but Dawn you\u2019re really annoying so I\u2019m going to shoot you too!\u2019 There is unpredictability with Meena.\u201d<\/p>

Her unpredictability certainly makes her a great villain \u2013 but could she be redeemed after all the terrible things she\u2019s done? Sandhu doesn\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d she said. \u201cI read a study about psychopaths in prison done in the 1970s. A doctor tried to rehabilitate them and after the tests they found psychopaths were 80 per cent more likely to commit a crime!<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously a massive failure and helped them commit crimes better, so I don\u2019t think she could be rehabilitated at all.\u201d<\/p>\n
