<\/p>
Andrew Garfield has had a very busy 12 months, starring in several high-profile films (including Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/a>) and picking up a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his role in Tick, Tick\u2026Boom!<\/a>.<\/p>\n But there are still a few things the actor would love to tick off from his bucket list \u2013 and it turns out one of those things is taking part in Strictly Come Dancing<\/a>.<\/p>\n Garfield makes the claim on this week\u2019s episode of The Graham Norton Show, when he is asked by the host if he\u2019d consider starring in a stage musical.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to, but you need to be a thoroughbred,\u201d he answers. \u201cI have the deepest respect for those performers.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI hate to confess it, but I would absolutely love to do Strictly. It\u2019s on the bucket list,\u201d he adds, before joking: \u201cIf I win the Oscar I will come back and do it!\u201d<\/p> This is the second time Garfield has received an Oscar nomination, following his nod for Hacksaw Ridge in 2017, and it seems he\u2019s thoroughly enjoying the accolades.<\/p>\n \u201cYou get to a certain age, and you think you would like it to happen,\u201d he said. \u201cI do care, and it\u2019s wonderful, really, really lovely.\u201d<\/p>\n The Graham Norton Show airs on Friday 18th February at 10:35pm on BBC One.
