<\/p>
ITV thriller Our House will tap into a \u201cnightmarish\u201d situation for most viewers, according to star Buket Komur.<\/p>\n
Based on the novel of the same name by Louise Candlish, the show stars\u00a0Line of Duty<\/a>\u2018s Martin Compston and Downton Abbey<\/a>\u2018s Tuppence Middleton in the lead roles, and follows Fi (Middleton), a woman who returns home one day to find all her possessions gone, and strangers moving into the empty house.<\/p>\n Komur, who plays the mysterious Wendy, teased that she \u201chopefully\u201d wouldn\u2019t fall for some of the potential scams that occur during the series in real life.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never heard of something like this happening before. And that\u2019s why I feel like it\u2019s quite a clever drama, because I feel like not that many people do know that this can happen,\u201d she said at a press event attended by RadioTimes.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I feel, especially coming out of the\u2026 pandemic, we\u2019ve all spent so much time at home that I feel like it\u2019s such a nightmarish thing to watch. So, yeah, I hope I\u2019m already quite vigilant.<\/p>\n \u201cI grew up with technology and social media and stuff. So I feel like I have this innate \u2013 hopefully savviness that my generation is supposed to have. Maybe not, who knows?
