Here\u2019s the list of your options, and their official descriptions from the game itself:<\/p>\n If you\u2019re wondering which Elden Ring keepsake to choose, it really is a matter of personal preference, and we\u2019d recommend basing your decision around how confident you feel going into Elden Ring.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re a seasoned Dark Souls player and you\u2019re up for a major challenge, we\u2019d recommend picking up the Stonesword Key as your keepsake. These keys are rare in the game and you can only use each of them once. You use them on imp statues to open up secret areas, which are often tricky dungeons that house tough bosses and good loot.<\/p>\n On the other hand, if you\u2019re a newbie to FromSoftware\u2019s famously gruelling games, it might be wise to pick up the Golden Seed as your keepsake \u2014 this will allow you to get an extra use out of your HP flask, which could be the difference between life and death in your first tricky battle.<\/p>\n Similarly, the Crimson Amber Medallion (raises max HP) and the Boiled Prawn (boosts your damage negation) would certainly help bulk you out in the early stages of the game when you\u2019ll be dying all the time.<\/p>\n On the flip-side of that, if you\u00a0want\u00a0<\/em>to attract chaos because you\u2019re just that sort of person, pick up the Shabriri\u2019s Woe that will attract aggression from your enemies \u2014 as if you need more of that!<\/p>\n Jokes aside, the safest bet for most players would probably be the Golden Seed, but it really is up to you.
