Emma Willis has revealed that she thinks Big Brother will return at some point down the line \u2013 although the former host reckons the show isn\u2019t quite ready to come back just yet.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Metro.co.uk<\/a>, Willis said, \u201cEverybody wants it back! I think it will come back when it\u2019s ready, maybe it\u2019s not ready yet.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf you\u2019re gonna do it again, you\u2019ve got to do it fantastically well,\u201d she added. \u201cHopefully, there\u2019s somebody beavering away somewhere that is coming up with an amazing plan for it, but I don\u2019t know anything about it if they are!\u201d<\/p>\n Willis isn\u2019t the first person attached to the show to clamour for its return in recent weeks \u2013 Rylan Clark has been especially keen for a revival,\u00a0 with the former Bit On The Side presenter making his wishes clear on social media.<\/p>\n \u201cAmazing news\u2026\u2026 NOW BRING OURS BACK,\u201d he tweeted when it was revealed that Celebrity Big Brother Australia was to air on E4 this month.<\/p>\n Previously, he had told The Mirror: \u201cBig Brother changed my life completely \u2013 a proper 360 \u2013 and I miss it dearly and I just think if it was to come back now, it could come back the same but so different now.\u201d<\/p> Meanwhile, long-term narrator Marcus Bentley revealed exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a> last month that he thought\u00a0the time is right for a return<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is nothing that compares to Big Brother and I believe that the viewers have missed it dearly, especially the January edition of Celebrity Big Brother, which always delivered the new year with a bang,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cBig TV shows often need a rest \u2013 look at\u00a0The X Factor<\/a>. Big Brother has had that now and if it came back it would be refreshed and ready to go and I believe there is a viewer appetite for it.\u201d<\/p>\n Big Brother was cancelled in 2018 after seven years on Channel 5, with the reality show having first become a major sensation during its decade-long run on Channel 4 between 2000 and 2010.<\/p>\n In 2020, Channel 4 boss\u00a0Ian Katz ruled out a return for the show any time soon<\/a>, telling the audience at the virtual Edinburgh Television Festival that there were currently \u201cno plans\u201d to revive it.<\/p>\n Looking for something to watch tonight?
