Fans of The Umbrella Academy, prepare yourselves: season 3 has an official release date.<\/p>\n
And now a new teaser trailer has also landed to ramp up anticipation for the next instalment, showing the Sparrows and the Hargreeves going head-to-head.<\/p>\n
Based on Gerard Way and Gabriel B\u00e1\u2019s comic books of the same name, the Netflix superhero series follows a group of former child heroes who reunite to save the world.<\/p>\n
The show\u2019s second outing ended with the siblings returning to the modern day after another adventure through time, only to find that they are now living in an alternate timeline in which their father Reginald and late brother Ben are still alive.<\/p>\n
Season 3\u2019s adventures will take place inside the twisted Hotel Oblivion, with a host of returning faces including Elliot Page, Tom Hopper and David Casta\u00f1eda.<\/p>\n
The core cast will be joined by a number of new cast members in season 3 including Justin Cornwell, Cazzie David, Britne Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez and Jake Epstein, who will play members of the Sparrow Academy<\/a>, which was given a brief introduction in season 2<\/a> but is set to feature more heavily in the next instalment.<\/p>\n So what\u2019s going to happen in season 3?
