So why is Barty bowing out of the professional game?\u00a0Read on for everything you need to know about her retirement from tennis<\/a>.<\/p>\n Barty posted a video to Instagram<\/a> announcing her decision through a conversation with her close friend and former tennis player Casey Dellacqua on Wednesday (23rd March), revealing that she is quitting the sport in order to \u201cchase after some other dreams\u201d.<\/p>\n She said she was \u201cabsolutely spent\u201d and \u201cphysically I have nothing more to give\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so happy and I\u2019m so ready. I just know at the moment in my heart, for me as a person, this is right,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cI know that people may not understand it. I\u2019m OK with that.
