All three of the 2022 Dancing on Ice finalists have performing experience, with Cole being a Strictly Come Dancing pro for 15 series, while Regan Gascoigne<\/a> is a professional dancer and Kimberly Wyatt<\/a> is part of the dance-heavy pop group The Pussycat Dolls.<\/p>\n When asked how they respond when confronted about their dancing backgrounds, Cole told\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press ahead of this Sunday\u2019s final: \u201cI think the fact that we\u2019ve got a dance background has only improved things on the ice.<\/p>\n \u201cThe stuff that we\u2019ve been able to do because of what our background is and the fact that we push each other because we\u2019re all in that boat, it\u2019s actually really special.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cI\u2019ve loved the push, I loved the challenge, I\u2019ve loved creating new stuff that I probably wouldn\u2019t have done if they hadn\u2019t been there because you\u2019d just go about your business. People are always gonna complain; that\u2019s the nature of humans as we exist today.\u201d<\/p> Meanwhile Wyatt added: \u201cThey won\u2019t ever change their mind,\u201d with Cole agreeing: \u201cNo \u2013 all we\u2019ve got to do is try and be our best selves out there on the ice.\u201d<\/p>\n The Dancing on Ice 2022 final was originally scheduled to air last weekend, however due to the Six Nations rugby tournament airing on ITV instead, the ice skating competition was pushed to 27th March.<\/p>\n The Dancing on Ice final airs Sunday at 7:30pm on ITV.
