Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>\u00a0at the Radio Times Covers Party<\/strong> this week, Nancy Corrigan star Megan Cusack talked of her excitement about returning to filming.<\/p> \u201cIt\u2019s coming very soon,\u201d she said. \u201cSo just really excited to get together with everyone again because everyone\u2019s so lovely. It\u2019s like a family. The crew are great. It\u2019s great crack.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cIt\u2019s that weird time in between where you\u2019re like, \u2018I\u2019d actually just like to be with everyone still!’\u201d<\/p>\n And Cusack is not the only star of the show looking forward to getting back to Nonnatus House, with Laura Main and Helen George also outlining their eagerness to return to filming.<\/p>\n \u201cI am so excited,\u201d added Main, before George said that there\u2019s \u201cnot too long to go\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s nice is we\u2019re not going to have COVID restrictions for the first time in a few years, which will be wonderful,\u201d George continued.<\/p>\n \u201cThere will be no perspex,\u201d Main added. \u201cWe can kiss, we can touch and do what we do.\u201d<\/p>\n When production is all done and dusted, the new season will once again begin with a Christmas special before playing out across the first few weeks of 2023.<\/p>\n The BBC One series has also already been re-commissioned for a thirteenth run \u2013 with no sign of an end in sight<\/a> any time soon.<\/p>\n Additional reporting by Abby Robinson.<\/em><\/p>\n See more photos from the Radio Times Covers Party 2022 in the new issue of Radio Times magazine, on sale Tuesday 5th April\u2013\u00a0subscribe now<\/a>\u00a0to get each issue delivered to your door.
