One of the biggest mysteries in the final season of Peaky Blinders<\/a> may have been revealed.<\/p>\n

The sixth season saw Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) fearing he would die of a tuberculoma<\/a> after a worrying diagnosis following the death of his daughter, Ruby Shelby.<\/p>\n

Prior to her death, Ruby had warned her father about a \u201cGrey Man\u201d<\/a> with \u201cgreen eyes\u201d who posed a danger to them both.<\/p>\n

There were many suspects as to who this figure could be, but we had to wait and see who it was.<\/p>\n

The Peaky Blinders season 6 ending<\/a> certainly answered a few questions and it appeared to suggest who the \u201cGrey Man\u201d was too.<\/p>\n

Did the Peaky Blinders season 6 finale expose the \u2018Grey Man\u2019?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes, it appears that Doctor Holford was the \u2018Grey Man\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After numerous warnings from a sick Ruby Shelby of a\u00a0\u201cgrey man\u201d and \u201cthe man with green eyes\u201d and\u00a0repeated the Romani phrase \u201ctickna mora o\u2019beng\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n

Although there were numerous candidates, from Michael Gray<\/a> (Finn Cole) to Sir Oswald Mosley<\/a> (Sam Claflin) and Jack Nelson<\/a> (James Frecheville), it appears it was a figure who was not expected: Doctor Holford (Aneurin Barnard).<\/p>\n

The doctor, who had treated Tommy for years, had revealed in episode 4 \u2018Sapphire\u2019 following the death of Ruby Shelby that Tommy had a terminal condition known as tuberculoma.<\/p>\n

The news changed Tommy\u2019s entire outlook as he executed a plan at all costs to provide for his family and also prepare himself for death.<\/p>\n

However, the season 6 finale saw Tommy prepare to take his own life in a caravan in the wilderness before being approached by the ghost of his daughter Ruby who told him that he was not sick at all and was not dying.<\/p>\n

Tommy soon came across a newspaper clipping from the wedding of Sir Oswald Mosley and Lady Diana Mitford<\/a> (Amber Anderson) and then noticed Doctor Holford amongst the guests \u2013 a party full of fascists and Nazis, including Adolf Hitler himself.<\/p>\n

Heading to Holford\u2019s county estate, Tommy ambushed Holford and held him at gunpoint.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m guessing you people all decided that the only person who could ever kill Tommy Shelby is Tommy Shelby himself,\u201d noted Tommy as he pointed his gun at Holford. \u201cYou made me believe death was coming. Let nature do the rest, eh?\u201d<\/p>\n

Holford confirmed Tommy\u2019s accusations by referring to him as already being \u201csick with guilt\u201d even if not ill.<\/p>\n

Tommy suggested he would execute Holford but soon abandoned the doctor in tears.<\/p>\n

It appeared that Holford is the \u2018Grey Man\u2019, wearing a grey suit in the scene and actor Aneurin Barnard has green eyes.<\/p>\n

We never suspected the doctor, did you?<\/p>\n
