Ever since season 4 of hit Spanish teen series Elite arrived on Netflix, fans have been clamouring for more.<\/p>\n

The good news is that fans don\u2019t need to wait much longer, as a release date for the fifth run has now been announced.<\/p>\n

The last season saw the Las Encinas students forced to contend with four new classmates, while a new investigation formed the basis for much of the narrative after Polo\u2019s murder<\/a> was wrapped up in the third run.<\/p>\n

It all came to a head in a dramatic finale<\/a> where the perpetrator is revealed, while we also learnt about yet another crime, with the lake once again the location of a cover-up.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not surprising that fans were so eager to find out what happens in the upcoming fifth season, with several loose threads yet to be tied up in the drama, including the unsolved mystery of the body in the lake and several romantic plotlines.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, although two more original cast members departed during the recent run, Elite has done a good job of introducing more new characters to take over from the beloved fan favourites \u2013 bolstering excitement for the next season.<\/p>\n
