Bob Odenkirk will return as Jimmy \u2018Saul Goodman\u2019 McGill for the prequel series\u2019 final season later this month, but it remains to be seen whether Cranston or Paul will reprise the roles of Walter White or Jesse Pinkman in a cameo appearance.<\/p>\n
Strictly speaking, Better Call Saul takes place before the events of Breaking Bad, but the shows also flashes forward to a post-Breaking Bad world, and co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould hinted to Variety<\/a> that we might see Walt and Jesse return as the two show\u2019s timelines \u201cstart crossing over\u201d.<\/p>\n Gilligan said: \u201cIt would be a damn shame if the show ended without [Cranston and Paul] appearing, would it not?\u201d He later added: \u201cYou heard it here first!\u201d<\/p>\n Gould said: \u201cIf it\u2019s ever going to happen, this is when these two shows start crossing over.\u201d He later teased:\u00a0\u201cThese two worlds crossover in a way that you haven\u2019t seen before, that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n Gould previously\u00a0told\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>: \u201cI think by the time you finish watching Better Call Saul, you\u2019re going to see Breaking Bad in a very different light.<\/p>\n \u201cI think we\u2019re going to learn things about the characters in Breaking Bad that we didn\u2019t know.
