Well, as previously teased by Yaz actor Mandip Gill<\/a>, it seems that we\u2019re going to get some follow-up in this week\u2019s Easter special Legend of the Sea Devils, even if we won\u2019t necessarily see a \u201cconclusion\u201d.<\/p>\n Gill said ahead\u00a0 of the episode: \u201cThe relationship between the Doctor and Yaz has definitely developed further. Conversations are not concluded in this episode, but they still definitely have advanced from where they were at the New Year\u2019s episode.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, showrunner Chris Chibnall teased that Yaz\u2019s feelings might be reciprocated, saying: \u201cYaz and the Doctor have hinted that they have feelings that they are suppressing and keeping quiet about.<\/p>\n \u201cSo there are some conversations that need to be had and you\u2019ll see those conversations developing and taking place in Legend of the Sea Devils. The Doctor and Yaz have something to talk about!\u201d<\/p>\n We don\u2019t have long to wait now to see these conversations play out, as the special, which features the long-awaited return of the Sea Devils<\/a>, airs this Sunday.<\/p>\n Dan actor John Bishop has also talked about how his character discovered the feelings between the pair, and made what could be an ominous hint towards future danger.<\/p> \u00a0<\/p>\n Bishop said: \u201cI think it was probably a surprise to both the Doctor and Yaz that it was so obvious to him that there was feelings between them. But because the bond between them is so clear, and because I think as well \u2013 as he says to Yaz in the New Year\u2019s special \u2013 sometimes if you\u2019ve got feelings for somebody you just have to act on them because otherwise if you don\u2019t it will be too late.\u201d<\/p>\n With Legend of the Sea Devils being the penultimate episode of Jodie Whittaker\u2019s tenure as the Doctor<\/a>, \u201ctoo late\u201d may be just around the corner\u2026<\/p>\n Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils comes to BBC One and\u00a0BBC iPlayer<\/a> at 7:10pm on Sunday 17th April.
