The actor, best known for his role as Finn in the Star Wars film franchise, praised the \u201cnuanced\u201d approach of the romance series, adding that he is currently looking for something \u201cdifferent\u201d to star in.<\/p>\n
Asked if he would interested in joining the series, he told Metro.co.uk<\/a>: \u201cOh, absolutely. I would \u2013 I\u2019m all about versatility. That\u2019s what we were taught, especially in drama school, we were taught about roles that wouldn\u2019t necessarily come our way but we were still trained to try and portray it.\u201d<\/p> He added: \u201cSo yeah, definitely, I would love to be in things that are more nuanced. After this period and doing Star Wars and being on quite a strict eight-year contract and being out of that, my man now feels like a football player like, \u2018What team?\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like, definitely, I have more space for things that are different for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor previously joked about replacing Reg\u00e9-Jean Page in his role as the Duke of Hastings<\/a> on Bridgerton.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m trying to get that\u00a0Bridgerton money, man,\u201d Boyega said,\u00a0as part of a Hollywood Reporter<\/a> roundtable alongside Page. \u201cI need to wear them skintights.
