Doctor Who fans were promised developments in the Doctor and Yaz\u2019s relationship<\/a> in the show\u2019s Easter special \u2013 and Legend of the Sea Devils<\/a> delivered, finally confirming on-screen how the Time Lord feels about her companion.<\/p>\n

The previous instalment of the BBC sci-fi series \u2013 New Year\u2019s Day episode Eve of the Daleks<\/a> \u2013 saw Yaz (Mandip Gill) confess the nature of her feelings for the Doctor<\/a> (Jodie Whittaker) to fellow TARDIS traveller Dan (John Bishop).<\/p>\n

This followed\u00a0much discussion among fans as to the possible romantic nature of the pair\u2019s relationship, with many rooting for the potential couple they\u2019d nicknamed \u201cThasmin\u201d \u2013 that\u2019s \u201cThirteen and Yasmin\u201d for the uninitiated.<\/p>\n

Yaz actress Gill recently told RadioTimes.com<\/a> that the duo\u2019s dynamic would be at \u201cthe heart\u201d of next episode<\/a> Legend of the Sea Devils and sure enough the special did dig deeper than ever before, with the Doctor directly addressing Yaz\u2019s feelings \u2013 and her own \u2013 for the first time.<\/p>
