Peaky Blinders actor Jack Parr is set to join the cast of Emmerdale<\/a> next week in a \u201cdramatic\u201d new storyline.<\/p>\n

Parr confirmed the news on Twitter<\/a> that he\u2019ll be making his soap debut as Jordan \u2013 a new character who becomes a divisive figure in the village.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun<\/a>, Jordan\u2019s arrival in the ITV soap will be \u201cshocking\u201d and \u201cdramatic\u201d, and his storyline will deal with a \u201cserious issue\u201d.<\/p>\n

RadioTimes.com<\/a> has reached out to ITV for comment.<\/p>\n

Parr recently appeared in the final season of Peaky Blinders<\/a> as Dougie Bill, having previously taken on roles in Silent Witness and One Shot.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear whether he\u2019ll be reprising his role as Dougie in the Peaky Blinders film<\/a>, which is expected to begin production at the start of 2023.<\/p>

Cillian Murphy is expected to return to play Tommy Shelby in the film alongside Natasha O\u2019Keeffe as Lizzie Shelby, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Kate Phillips as Linda Shelby and other stars from the BBC period drama, although a full cast list has yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

While Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight hasn\u2019t revealed much about the upcoming movie, he recently told RadioTimes.com<\/strong> that it will be an \u201cuntold story that happened in the Second World War\u201d involving the Peakys.<\/p>\n
