On this week\u2019s Radio Times Podcast<\/a>, Tan France joins Rhianna Dhillon to talk about his new BBC Two documentary on colourism, Beauty and the Bleach (Wednesday 27^{th<\/sup> April).<\/p>\n}

Tan, whose own struggles with colourism led to him bleaching his skin when he was a teenager, discusses how it felt to be \u201chindered by\u201d negative views about his skin colour.<\/p>\n

But the Queer Eye star also explains the joy of breaking out of such beliefs, and how finally seeing his skin \u201cfor what it is \u2013 which is beautiful\u201d gave him \u201ca freedom that was never there before\u201d.<\/p>\n
