In anticipation of the BFI & Radio Times Television Festival 2022, <\/strong>which is coming to London\u2019s Southbank in May, more details have now been announced regarding a real highlight of the line-up \u2013 a panel and Q&A for Call the Midwife<\/a>.<\/p>\n Creator and writer Heidi Thomas and executive producer Pippa Harris were previously announced<\/a> to be joining the panel, where they will discuss the secrets of the Sunday-night favourite\u2019s success.<\/p>\n However, it has now been revealed that cast members Helen George<\/strong> (Trixie Franklin), Laura Main<\/strong> (Shelagh Turner) and Stephen McGann<\/strong> (Dr Turner) will also be in attendance.<\/p>\n In appearing at the festival, George Main and McGann will join the likes of Martin Freeman, Mary Berry and Sir Bob Geldof, all of whom have been confirmed<\/a> to take part in one of the many panels, Q&As and exclusive screenings.<\/p>\n Find out more about the full BFI & Radio Times Television Festival 2022<\/strong> line-up and ticket information here<\/a>.<\/p> \u00a0<\/p>\n It follows the news that filming has now started on Call the Midwife season 12<\/a>, with Jenny Agutter and Linda Bassett appearing in the traditional clapperboard shot to mark the beginning of the first scene this year.<\/p>\n George and Main previously spoke exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>\u00a0at the\u00a0Radio Times Covers Party,\u00a0<\/strong>and explained that this year\u2019s season will be the \u201cfirst time in a few years\u201d<\/a> that the show is filmed without COVID restrictions.<\/p>
