\u201cIt\u2019s not necessarily the end of the television show,\u201d said executive producer James Gandhi. \u201cThis is the climax of Callum and Sephy\u2019s love story\u2026 b<\/span>ut there is more in the Noughts + Crosses world, this is just the end of Callum and Sephy\u2019s love story.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The second season took some time to move forward due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, which was particularly problematic for Noughts + Crosses<\/a> as the show is filmed in South Africa.<\/p>\n The country was still on the UK\u2019s \u201cred list\u201d at the time filming was due to begin, but a potential third season could move forward quicker with travel restrictions currently dropped.<\/p>\n Gandhi added: \u201cYou just never know. It\u2019s an amazing world that we love spending lots of time in and you never know what\u2019s going to happen in the future on the show. You have to see where this series takes us first.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Noughts + Crosses season 2 airs Tuesdays at 10:40pm on BBC One and is streaming in full now on BBC iPlayer<\/a>.
