Davina McCall has discussed the \u201cvery exciting\u201d prospect of Big Brother returning to our screens, following widespread rumours of a\u00a0Big Brother comeback on ITV2<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201c[The prospect of] Big Brother returning is very exciting,\u201d the show\u2019s original presenter said in an interview with The Daily Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, I really, really hope it comes back, and I think if it\u2019s coming back to ITV2 then that is a really good home for it.\u201d<\/p> The publication cited the rumours that ITV bosses are looking to acquire the iconic Channel 4 series to air on\u00a0ITV2 in 2023, premiering immediately after that year\u2019s season of Love Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n McCall and Bit On the Side presenter Rylan Clark were previously tied when RadioTimes.com<\/a> asked fans who should host the potential Big Brother revival<\/a>.<\/p>\n Out of the poll\u2019s participants, 37 per cent said that they thought original presenter McCall should be the person to lead a new series \u2013 only slightly more than the 36.2 per cent who believed Rylan Clark was the man for the job.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, former host Emma Willis scored 17 per cent of the vote, while popular former contestant Alison Hammond won 9.8 per cent.<\/p>\n McCall has been made the bookies\u2019 favourite to land the gig, although the show\u2019s revival has yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Willis said that she thinks the show will return<\/a>, although at the time she suggested that \u201cmaybe it\u2019s not ready yet\u201d.<\/p>\n In the meantime, visit our Entertainment<\/a>\u00a0hub for more news and features, or find something to watch with our\u00a0TV Guide<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The latest issue of Radio Times magazine is on sale now \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/b>subscribe now<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and get the next 12 issues for only \u00a31.
