Line of Duty<\/a> star Maya Sondhi has revealed she knew the identity of AC-12 mole \u2018H\u2019<\/a><\/span>\u00a0well in advance of the season 6 reveal \u2013<\/span>\u00a0despite her character\u2019s death in the previous season.<\/p>\n

The actress and screenwriter played PC Maneet Bindra, who was a\u00a0victim of serial character killer Jed Mercurio<\/a> when she had her throat slit in the season 5 premiere.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve got people on the inside, obviously,\u201d she told RadioTimes.com<\/a>\u00a0during her upcoming profile for The Big RT Interview<\/a>, published this weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone\u2019s very good at not doing spoilers for people that they know and love. So we had to just kept it very quiet,\u201d Sondhi said.<\/p>

She continued: \u201cI knew while they were filming that [sixth] series, because obviously I wasn\u2019t in that series; but I\u2019ve got contacts,\u201d\u00a0<\/span>before she quipped: \u201cBut don\u2019t tell Jed [Mercurio], he\u2019ll kill me! I never told anyone, but\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sondhi and her former Line of Duty boss Jed Mercurio have teamed up for the former\u2019s new crime drama DI Ray<\/a><\/span>, which Mercurio executive produces and which also stars Bend It Like Beckham\u2019s Parminder Nagra.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere during the interview, Sondhi said she found it \u201cso funny\u201d that recurring character\u00a0DSU Ian Buckells (played by Nigel Boyle) was revealed to have been \u2018H\u2019 all along.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just thought, \u2018That\u2019s so funny\u2019. Because I know Nigel, he\u2019s such a funny guy, and I bet he absolutely wet himself when he found out. I think it\u2019s perfect because he\u2019s [Ian Buckells is] an idiot, isn\u2019t he?<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is an absolute idiot, he is useless. Not Nigel himself \u2013<\/span>\u00a0I mean, the character.\u201d<\/p>\n
