Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press ahead of The Games, the former Strictly star said he\u2019s worried he\u2019ll start to \u201cshow off\u201d once he\u2019s put in front of a live audience again.<\/p>\n When asked how the live element of Strictly Come Dancing compares to that of The Games, Clifton said: \u201cIn training, we\u2019re all focused and the coaches are like, \u2018Do this, do that,\u2019 and you\u2019re very focused.<\/p>\n \u201cMy worry is that when all the audience get in here, I\u2019m gonna start wanting to show off because I\u2019m so used to being like, \u2018Let\u2019s entertain everyone! Let\u2019s get everyone going,\u2019 at Strictly.\u201d<\/p>\n As for how the big crowd will affect his performance, he said: \u201cIt\u2019ll egg me on. I\u2019m worried that all my technical will go out the window because I\u2019ll be like, \u2018Yes! Let\u2019s go, let\u2019s go!\u2019 You can\u2019t win anyone over through votes.\u201d<\/p>\n The dancer, who left Strictly after seven years in 2020, is just one of the celebrities who\u2019ll be taking on The Games next week, with the line-up expected to take part in a series of sporting challenges with the hopes of emerging the 2022 champion.<\/p> Hosted by Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff with commentary from Chris Kamara and trackside reporting from Alex Scott, the show will see the likes of Wes Nelson, Rebecca Sarker, Olivia Attwood, Lucrezia Millarini and Max George compete in live shows throughout the week.<\/p>\n The Games starts on Monday 9th May at 9pm on ITV.
