Starring Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd as the titular Clark<\/span> Olofsson, it tells the story of his notorious, decades-long career of crime, involving multiple prison breaks and bank robberies, as he left a trail of destruction in his wake.<\/p>\n One thing that sets the series apart is its fantastical style, with the whole series told from Clark\u2019s perspective in a heightened reality, and this is no more apparent than in the show\u2019s opening scene.<\/p>\n In the earliest moments of the series, we follow the camera inside Olofsson\u2019s mother\u2019s womb to find baby Clark inside, with Skarsg\u00e5rd\u2019s face superimposed.<\/p>\n Now, speaking exclusively with RadioTimes.com<\/a> for a Big RT Interview<\/strong>, Skarsg\u00e5rd has confirmed this scene had been in director Jonas \u00c5kerlund\u2019s mind from the earliest moments of the series\u2019 development.<\/p>\n Skarsg\u00e5rd said: \u201cIf you read any of the stories about Clark<\/span> there\u2019s all of these factual events, which by themselves are crazy, but then there\u2019s also him retelling them.
