Tipping Point\u2019s Ben Shephard has paid tribute to a contestant on Wednesday\u2019s episode (4th May) who has sadly died since filming.<\/p>\n

The Good Morning Britain presenter revealed on Twitter before the instalment aired on ITV that Cath, a retired bus driver from Bolton, had passed away.<\/p>\n

Alongside a photo of them on set together, he wrote: \u201cToday\u2019s Tipping Point is a poignant one\u2026 since recording the show, lovely contestant Cath, pictured backstage here, has passed away.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur thoughts and love are with her family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a tweet<\/a> 15 minutes before the show aired, Tipping Point said: \u201cAfter the recording of today\u2019s programme, we spoke with Cath\u2019s family who shared the sad news of Cath\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone at Tipping Point would like to extend their sincerest sympathies.\u201d<\/p>\n
