The Doctor Strange sequel (aka Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness<\/a>) crams a lot into its two-hour runtime, with Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), his friends and enemies travelling to parallel worlds, meeting alternate versions of familiar characters and facing a deadly threat.<\/p>\n

And even when it seems like everything\u2019s all wrapped up, there are a couple of sneaky credits scenes that reveal what happened next for key characters, as well as teasing what\u2019s next for the Doctor Strange series as a whole.<\/p>\n

Below, we\u2019ve broken down some of the less clear parts of these after-credits scenes, but be warned \u2013 we\u2019ll be dealing in spoiler territory, so look away now if you haven\u2019t had a chance to see the film before reading this.<\/p>\n

**Spoiler warning for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness**<\/strong><\/p>

First, a little background. After defeating the threat to the multiverse, the film ends with Doctor Strange insisting to Wong (Benedict Wong) that he hasn\u2019t been affected by the dark magic of the Darkhold. But moments later, as he walks down the street he collapses to his knees in pain, screaming as a third eye (similar to one used by his \u201cdark\u201d alternate self in another universe) opens on his forehead.<\/p>\n

Exactly what this \u201cthird eye\u201d represents is unclear. Generally speaking, the term \u201cthird eye\u201d is often used to describe an ability to witness magic or see the future more generally, so it could be that this new feature will enhance Strange\u2019s abilities.<\/p>
