But it\u2019s former Harry Potter star Josh Herdman who has captured many fans\u2019 attention.<\/p>\n
Josh finished the 400m sprint in second place after Wes in the first episode of The Games<\/a> on Monday 9th May.<\/p>\n But which character did Josh portray in Harry Potter and what is the actor up to now?\u00a0Read on for everything you need to know about the celebrity.<\/p>\n Instagram:<\/strong>\u00a0@josh_herdman_official<\/a><\/p>\n The Games 2022 contestant<\/a> Josh Herdman is a former Harry Potter<\/a> star who played Gregory Goyle in the franchise alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.<\/p>\n Since then, the actor has gone on to pursue a career as an MMA fighter.<\/p>\n Josh competed in his first MMA fight in 2016, winning against Janusz Walachowski.<\/p>\n \u201cI chose MMA because I love the sport. It\u2019s raw, exciting and unpredictable,\u201d he told Addicted MMA On The Road<\/a> at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cI find it more interesting than boxing although I appreciate the beauty and art in boxing,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n \u201cIt also made sense to move onto MMA because of my jujitsu training.\u201d<\/p>\n Josh has also appeared in a handful of acting roles since his stint on Harry Potter, most recently starring in\u00a0ITV drama White House Farm in 2020.<\/p>\n Josh played henchman Gregory Goyle in Harry Potter<\/a>, one half of Draco Malfoy\u2019s (Tom Felton) cupcake-obsessed sidekick duo Crabbe and Goyle.<\/p>\n The actor was one of only 14 people to star in all eight Harry Potter films between 2001 and 2011.<\/p>\n The show began on Monday 9th May at 9pm<\/strong> on ITV.<\/p>\n The series, which is recorded live and hosted by\u00a0Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff,<\/a> will air nightly across the week until Friday 13th May.<\/p>\n The 12 celebrities will battle it out over the course of the week, with one man and one woman emerging as this year\u2019s champions, but who will they be?<\/p>\n We\u2019ll have to wait and see!<\/p>\n The Games starts on Monday 9th May at 9pm on ITV.
