Electro-pop act Andrei-Ionu\u021b Ursu, who goes by the stage name of Wrs, will be representing Romania at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Italy is hosting this year\u2019s Eurovision after their act M\u00e5neskin won it in 2021, with the event going out live from Turin on Saturday 14th May at the PalaOlimpico Arena.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before launching his music project, Andrei was a backup dancer on TV and for other artists, encouraged by his parents who are folk music dancers. After a short time in a boyband named Shot, Andrei moved to London where he composed and wrote his own music.<\/p>\n

Wrs made his debut with the single \u2018Why\u2019, which accrued a million views on YouTube and 400,000 streams on Spotify.<\/p>\n

The singer and songwriter will be performing his second single \u2018Ll\u00e1mame\u2019, which he launched in February this year.<\/p>\n
