It\u2019s almost time for this year\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Eurovision<\/span><\/a> hopefuls to head out to Turin in Italy as the singing competition kicks off.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday 14th May and will see the world\u2019s countries go head-to-head to impress nations around the globe.<\/span><\/p>\n

But who will have what it takes to follow in Italian rock band M\u00e5neskin\u2019s footsteps to be named the big winner?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rasmus\u2019 roots go way back to 1994 when the successful rock band was first formed in Helsinki.<\/p>\n

While the line-up has changed over the years, frontman Lauri Yl\u00f6nen has always led the way and celebrated the group\u2019s big successes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These include nine studio albums, which have amassed five million sales around the world. The most popular of these was undoubtedly their fifth album, 2003\u2019s Dead Letters, which catapulted them to a global audience thanks to track \u2018In the Shadows\u2019.<\/p>\n

Now, they\u2019re hoping to impress the world again as they take to the Eurovision stage after triumphing at Finland\u2019s Eurovision selection show, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
